Reservation with a 50 % deposit, official release date displayed before any payment.
A pre-order is opened only with a date
We open pre-orders for a product only once its release date has been officially communicated by the manufacturer. That date, or the period officially announced, is shown on the product page and repeated before any payment.
We never offer a reservation against an uncertain or unannounced release.
Two distinct timescales
The release date depends on the manufacturer: it is the moment the product is made available to us. The delivery time is our commitment: it runs from dispatch.
In practice, we dispatch as soon as the product actually becomes available and the balance is paid, then delivery follows within 24 to 72 working hours. This timetable may lead to delivery more than thirty days after your order, which you expressly accept by pre-ordering.
Deposit and balance
A pre-order is confirmed by the payment of a deposit of 50 % of the total amount. That sum is a deposit on account (acompte), and not earnest money (arrhes): it is set against the price and binds both parties.
The balance is taken from the registered means of payment when the product actually becomes available and before dispatch. You are informed by email before the payment is taken.
No product is dispatched or handed over until the full price has been paid.
Cancellation before dispatch
You may cancel a pre-order at any time before it is dispatched, without having to give a reason. The deposit paid is refunded to you in full, with nothing withheld and no charge, no later than fourteen days after your request.
If the announced release date is put back by the manufacturer, we inform you and you keep the right to cancel on the same terms.
Withdrawal after receipt
The 14-day right of withdrawal applies to a pre-order as to any distance sale, from receipt of the product or its collection in store.

Separate orders
A pre-order and a product in stock cannot appear in the same order, as their timetables and payment terms differ. Two separate orders must be placed.
Collection in store
Collection is not offered for a pre-order until the product has been released by the manufacturer and received by us. It becomes possible again on receipt, once the balance has been paid.
